Darcy rarely trades so you are back to free agency thing and that is not always good. Building through the draft is the way to go in the NHL these days.

Yes, building through the draft is a must, but hey, you never know if Darcy tries to trade or not, we don't know nothin unless the trade is confirmed.

we don't have any good centers in the system. our defensive prospects are slim and we're just growing 3rd/4th line talent.

time to build through free agency and the draft.
