I have really liked what I have seen out of Myers. I think he makes smart plays and has a great combination of hands, speed and brains. I wish he was a bit heavier and had a few more years to get gritty but it will come.

I'm not sure how much stock to put into last night's game. Toronto was dog tired after a hectic pre-season schedule and Buffalo was on the back end of two in a row after a very physical game in Montreal.
I think you're right about fatigue to a certain point and still being a pre-season game it is hard to tell if this is the team we will see Saturday or not. As for Lalime though, this guy just doesn't have the chops to play net for a team like Buffalo with a fast offense and a mediocre defense. He has (from what I can see) virtually no control over the tempo of play in his zone (I call him Rebound Boy) and doesn't seem to have the presence of a leader or the communication he needs between him and the D. I hope a guy from Portland can step up and perform better if this trend continues.
