I can't really help you with specifics for that phone; I haven't used WinMo since 5 on my Treo.
Same here, but did you try bluetooth tethering?
My blackberry can tether to my macbook via USB or bluetooth and OS X just sees it as a "modem" device.
I also have a verizon air card though so I only tethered it to my phone once for shits and giggles.
Some googling turned up this
http://www.infosyncworld.com/news/n/9781.htmllooks like your laptop may need some extra software.
Squanto, thanks for the info, but Im trying to do this legit. And, im already paying verizon for the access at an extra $30 a month. Also, tethering is now the preferred term, thanks for the heads up.
Cross, I would use the Bluetooth capability (laptop has it) but the only issue is the speed of the bluetooth connection is not going to be nearly as fast as it would with a USB 2.0 connection and I've also had friends of mine with different phones/providers verify this as well.
I've done some research, and it looks like with a quick install of VZAccessMananger, as long as you have a data package, you're golden. Im gonna call of course to make sure it doesnt sign me up for some $50 a month service I don't need as well though.
