Probably didn't give no fuck ;)

If they're starting to grow feathers, I'd leave 'em alone. Maybe try to build a barrier to cordon 'em off if you can. Otherwise, don't expect to see them tomorrow :/

I've checked the time at 13:37 every day for the past week.

Accidentally.

i put them in a shoe box with towels, and fed them worms. one was in bad shape from the fall, and he didnt make it. the other one is fine, ate a ton of worms. i put him right where he fell so he can chirp to his momma and she can grab him.

i was going to take him home, but i just didnt feel that was a good move to make.

Maybe call a wildlife center and tell them about the bird.

I have an interview today at Encore (a bar/restaurant downtown) and I'm really nervous. I want to get started in the restaurant business just so I can make money with tips, but I have no experience so the owner told me he would find something for me to get me started. But I'm just really nervous I don't want to screw everything up. I'm also excited because it could potentially mean my time at Regal Cinemas is over!

Don't be nervous. If the owner is already telling you that he would find something for you to get you started then it sounds like you already have the job.

Yeah, I sort of have an "in" because a family friend is really good friends with the owner. I just hope I don't screw it up because he's doing me a favor by getting me a job, so I just hope I don't end up being a disaster haha.

Haha, that's how I felt for my internship.

I can give you some advice for your interview.

If any customer service-type questions come up, whether it's about "tell me about a time when a customer was being difficult.. blah blah." or "what would you do in this situation...?" ALWAYS say you're willing to do whatever it takes to make your customers feel welcomed and accommodated. Red Lobster always stressed this and ultimately, it always came down to letting guests have the best experience possible so they would come back. So if you're asked a question along those lines, bring up a time a customer was having a bad experience and you turned it around and made it better or how you ensure customers had a good experience while at the movies.

I'm not sure what kind of restaurant Encore is and so I don't know if they have a hostess stand or not, but I would imagine that would be a nice place to start for you if they have one. It's very customer service oriented and you get to know the restaurant well before you move on to serving.

Thanks! I know I have to emphasize how I'm always willing to make the customer feel appreciated and accommodated, and lucky for me, customers seem to like me for the most part. I feel like I'm a genuine person and I'm pretty patient with people...and believe me, working at the movie theatre taught me a thing or two on how to deal with customers...all different kinds of customers.

Yeah, there's a hostess stand at Encore. I'm assuming I'll start there or maybe be a busser or something. Encore is a restaurant/bar. It's kind of upscale and casual at the same time. There's a bar on the first floor and on the second floor there's a sushi bar and dining areas. They have a big outdoor patio on the first floor that's a hot spot in the summer to go out drinking.

3-on-3 half ice hockey is loads of fun and tiring. I now don't want to go to work or leave my house after taking my relaxing shower.

I still need to look for a new job though. I need outta the food industry forever.

Well, I think the interview went well. They told me that the position available to me would be bussing. I'm just hoping that this will transition into me eventually becoming a server. I feel like bussing will teach me a lot and give me a feel of what it's like to work in the restaurant business, so it will be a good way for me to see if I can/want to end up being a server.
