Hey,
I'm Lindsay. I've been a member of this board for a while, but during the school year I don't get to post much. Now that it's the summer and I have more free time (and no hockey to watch) I've stopped by.
I was born in Rochester in '81, moved to Buffalo in 94 and moved to Florida in '06 where I teach high school social studies. I get mad every time someone mentions moving the Tampa Bay Lightning because that's the only time I really get to see the Sabres, which is always a good time because we have more fans than they do. I always get to sit by someone who's mad that our fans are "obnoxious". Good times.
Some random thoughts:
*I like sarcasm and use it whenever possible
*Even though I love sports and strive to know as much as possible about them, I still love girly things such as dresses, shoes with heels, froo-froo girly drinks, miniature-anythings (they're so cute!) and the color pink.
*If I ever meet either Mary Kay Letourneau or Debbie LaFave I'm gonna punch that bitch in the face. Ok, I probably won't, but she's gonna get a scathing glare she won't soon forget.
*I like Florida, but I miss living in Buffalo (actually, what I really miss is friends and family, but home is where you're heart is or some other cliche right?)
*I'm addicted to True Blood right now (the show, not the drink...)
*I like facebook...alot. Feel free to friend me (and say that five times fast)
The end...

Call me crazy, but I think our women might not enjoy being the subject of 'dibs'. ;p
A few years ago at the beginning of the school year I was sitting with all the younger female teachers and they were introducing new teachers and when they introduced the one younger, good looking guy one of the girls yells out "DIBS!".
Four years later they're married with a kid on the way. Dibs is totally valid.
