Just occurred to me - you're using the same avatar you did back in the day!

I changed mine. Couldn't go wrong with Natalie Portman.

Mine changes based on how epically awesome it is. Of course to put the work "epic" on it means i have to get it approved by Phil first. lets just say, he's the simon cowell of avatar selections :(

Well I just found this thread and I am a regular poster. I am also a regular pot smoker which is why I probably never found this thread. I was born and raised in BC(thats Canada ;)). I lived down by Vancouver until I was seven and then moved up to Kelowna and its absolutely beautiful here. I've always wanted to move out east so I could attend more sabres games but I can't leave BC. I love it too much.
I love hockey and loooove the sabres. My room is painted blue and gold and I drive a navy blue truck with sabres stickers all over it. I just turned 21 and I work at the local hockey shop. My plan is to open up my own store in a small town here in BC. I don't think i've met anyone from here. I met two people at the Calgary game last year and a couple of sabres fans at the Vancouver game this year. I plan to travel to EDM and CAL again next year to watch our boys play.

Hai. I'm SchonyGal :-)
I've been around a while, but absent for quite sometime due to unforeseen issues.
Hope all is well.

I'm Glenn and while I grew up in Albion and Brockport, I've lived in Florida for the past 30 years. Honestly, I don't know why. I one of the really old guard (I turn 50 in May). I haven't been posting much lately, but that is because I teach five Advanced Placement European history classes and this is a pretty busy time of year as we get closer to the AP test.

I haven't had much time for hockey lately, which works out okay, I guess, since it seems that the Sabres don't either.

Where in Florida do you teach? I'm in Pinellas County. I teach World and Am. Gov.

A few years ago at the beginning of the school year I was sitting with all the younger female teachers and they were introducing new teachers and when they introduced the one younger, good looking guy one of the girls yells out "DIBS!".

Four years later they're married with a kid on the way. Dibs is totally valid.

Hey,
I'm Lindsay. I've been a member of this board for a while, but during the school year I don't get to post much. Now that it's the summer and I have more free time (and no hockey to watch) I've stopped by.

I was born in Rochester in '81, moved to Buffalo in 94 and moved to Florida in '06 where I teach high school social studies. I get mad every time someone mentions moving the Tampa Bay Lightning because that's the only time I really get to see the Sabres, which is always a good time because we have more fans than they do. I always get to sit by someone who's mad that our fans are "obnoxious". Good times.

Some random thoughts:
*I like sarcasm and use it whenever possible
*Even though I love sports and strive to know as much as possible about them, I still love girly things such as dresses, shoes with heels, froo-froo girly drinks, miniature-anythings (they're so cute!) and the color pink.
*If I ever meet either Mary Kay Letourneau or Debbie LaFave I'm gonna punch that bitch in the face. Ok, I probably won't, but she's gonna get a scathing glare she won't soon forget.
*I like Florida, but I miss living in Buffalo (actually, what I really miss is friends and family, but home is where you're heart is or some other cliche right?)
*I'm addicted to True Blood right now (the show, not the drink...)
*I like facebook...alot. Feel free to friend me (and say that five times fast)

The end...

Two things: Excellent taste in True Blood, and if you see a girl wearing a Stamkos jersey and Sabres hat or Kaleta jersey and Bolts hat, tell her I said hi :D

It's a sad, sad fact that lots of ppl had to move from Buffalo to get teaching jobs.

I hope your friend likes his job, even though they're screwing us royally down here ( but I guess teachers are getting screwed everywhere. I wish I didn't like my mindless summers so much...)

What does your friend teach, if you don't mind me asking.
