I have only one class tomorrow, instead of four. Also, it's not until 1:00. This pleases me. This week is pretty much one big weekend.

Planning a trip to St. Louis to go to the City Museum fall break. Yay!

Fall break = a magical wonderland where climbing on things, jumping around, and exploring are highly encouraged. Spring break will probably consist of a trip to the West Coast and back. Yaaaaay life.

my buddy is climbing the largest rocky mountain as we speak, but i declined to go. waking up at 4 am to climb some big hill for 4 hours, and get to the summit just to feel like a bag of ass, then hike down for 4 hours? no thanks.

Largest in the Rocky Mountains? Mount Elbert? It's like 3 hours away from me.

I just want to be able to get away from everything.

I just want to lose contact with everyone for a week or two. I really wish I could just hop in my car and drive out to California, have a good time for a bit, then drive back without ever taking my phone or a computer and just get away from everything in my life right now.

It would probably work for at least those two weeks, but I would bet everything comes back the moment I gain contact with everyone again.

I just want to get away right now. I just want to be able to have nothing on my mind and to just have an incredible time.

I just really hate how the past 6 months it was basically all her and only her, she was basically the only girl I talked to and hung out with during that time.

Haha I found this a bit funny. She removed some of the pictures of me and her from her facebook today or last night or something. Obviously I noticed because I'm crazy. But had she really wanted to remove those pictures she would have done so when we broke up, not three days after her new boyfriend and 2.5 weeks after the fact. I would be willing to bet he asked her to remove those pictures.

I also mentioned she forgot some that are still up and it would suck to forget them too.

I found it funny actually. A little hurt but funny nonetheless.

I just won a drawing for me and 3 guests to go to Universal Studios for 4 days and 3 nights for free, a rental car, and $500 gift card for universal studios theme parks.

I entered the drawing during the Drag Race in Charlotte and WON!!!!

You will have to report that as income.

Better make sure you can afford the taxes on it before you accept, especially since you're jobless right now. ;)

Do you know how much the trip is worth? I'm guessing at least $2k.

The taxes were $298, he told me straight up, and my mom paid for it. You had to pay for it when you register for it.

But I'm looking for a job really badly right now, put my name everywhere just need to check up on it all.

So I'm guessing the trip was worth $2980?

Nice dude...you were just mentioning how you needed a getaway to clear your mind of things. I'm sure this trip will be good for you.

Haha yea, not sure when we are gonna take it, but I really needed something like this to happen after the past few weeks.

You're down on your luck and BAM, you just win a trip and everything is almost all better, at least for now. :D

Gonna have a wicked bruise on my ankle. Had a soccer game earlier, and one of the opposing players had a 1-0 break against me. Charged out of the goal, dove down and kicked the ball right out from underneath him. The kid got destroyed on my follow through. He'll be hurting a lot more than I will be this this time tomorrow.

Campus memorial service tomorrow morning. I just might cry in front of other human beings for the first time since I was a child... lol. Her family will be there to speak. Her Facebook wall before she died is a constant stream of her family commenting on each other's things, plenty of "I love you." Her mother's wall is chock full of bragging about her being at college and playing volleyball. :? It's just sad.

Death seems a little rushed in our culture. Less than a week ago this girl was still here, and already she is buried.

I absolutely hate when people give me advice against my principles. Yesterday I was at dinner with a few friends and was talking about a girl I've been talking with, and said "I'm not really sure where this is going. We don't have a ton in common, and I don't find her all that attractive." And a friend told me "why not just stay with her until you find something better. Its not like you can't just hook up with her and dump her after."

It really pisses me off that people think I would do something like that, then call me a pussy because I won't. I don't do that to girls. If we establish it would only be a one night thing, or its a random hook up, then fine, but I'm not the kind of guy who leads a girl on, bones them, then just ignores them. Someone who claims to be one of my good friends should know that, and not tell me to do things. I may be a dick sometimes, but I'm genuinely a nice guy. I can't do that kind of shit to people, it just isn't right.

I know how you feel... It was so surreal when my friend died a few years ago after she got hit by a truck. I know most parents love their children unconditionally, but she was just so close to her parents and her brothers and they were always beaming with pride. Honestly the hardest part of her dying for me was seeing how hurt her family was.
