I think I interrupted one of my friends asking a girl out. Could be COMPLETELY wrong, but if so, lol. Also he is the best friend I have, and I believe if that was what was going on, said girl will get in the way of awesome friendship because she already becomes jealous when I am around when she has no right to yet due to the fact that when I am there all of his attention is on me 95% of the time. Yeah, definitely. Friendships are interesting. I wonder a lot about what will happen whenever he decides to acquire a girlfriend; when I am around he uses me as support and vice versa because we have an innate mental connection that we both noticed the moment we met, and we are very close as friends in addition to that... I would be viewed as a threat by any girl, which would not be entirely illegitimate because I do have feelings for him, though I would never intentionally break up a relationship especially if both partners are happy (and him in particular; I care more about him than I do my own feelings).

He also was not, after all, asking her out. As it is now I am pretty sure it was actually sort of the opposite... lol.

Weeeeell, he told me last year that he liked me but that he didn't think a relationship would work (I do not know why) and then proceeded to be really obvious about the fact that he was attracted to me when previously I had only figured it out from the look in his eyes. That continued into this year, and I started acting the same, and everybody noticed, aaaaand then he initiated a define-the-relationship talk lol (I was going to the same day but chickened out... lol) in which he said he longer liked me despite not having changed his behavior at all and despite telling two of his guy friends that he did within a few days prior to the conversation. I know he was lying, but I let it go because I knew why he was doing it... We both agreed to change our behavior and did, but the last week it's been starting up again on his part. The DTR happened a month ago.

It's kind of stupid... lol. I just don't want to lose the friendship because he's the only person I've ever met who understands and accepts me that well, and I know I would immediately be perceived as a threat by any girl he chooses to date and would only be able to hang out with him in large groups maybe once a week as opposed to every day.

And now SJ knows the extent of my non-existent love life. Haha.
