When WGRZ reports it, it has to be true, since they're usually late to the party on these things.
Good news though. The blurb about LQ and DiPofi wasn't really a shock; LQ admitted weeks ago that once BTG was out, he was out.
If I'm not mistaken, somebody stated that Slesh was merely speculating and didn't know anything

.
Hate to say I told you so, but, I told you so

.
You were speculating. Just because you happened to be right doesn't change that.

Right.
I was merely bursting with confidence because my inner self had hoped all along this would happen

.
I told you what I knew and gave you a general idea of who I spoke with to get that information.
Take it at face value and nothing more.
And on that note, your going to love this guy Squanto, he is very much into hockey and very much into Buffalo.
I see tangibles lining up here all day long. He'll invest in the area beyond the Sabres, it's ony a matter of planning and time, and he will be a positive for the region.
But as far as the Sabres are concerned, Mr. Pegula will do his damdest to bring a Stanley Cup to Buffalo. Let's put it like this, he's not afraid of the bottom line entering the red for a period of time in order to build a contender. You can say goodbye to internal cap chatter. The real plus side on this is the departure of Regier, which is what some people believe is necessary as several players have privately (and a couple publicly) have stated just how they feel about playing in Buffalo under the current management regime.
