(I was waiting to post this until the right time to do so, but this seems like the right time)

This may come to news to you all, but I have left the Romanist faith, and I am taking the steps to enter communion with Holy Eastern Orthodoxy in the fall.
(back to your posts)
Pascha and Christmas are on different Gregorian calender dates, because the Orthodox Church(at least the ROCOR jurisdiction which i will enter) uses the julian calender, so while my family is celebrating those days, they will be nothing special to me

(side note, as to avoid confusion later. I acknowledge that I was, in fact, a romanist and defended the catholic church with vigor, but I am no longer one)

Whatever makes you stronger man. Good luck!

I would say "Hell Yeah!" but you get the point! Two more hours!!!!!

My wife is a bit miffed at me for ditching on Easter dinner with her friends but I'm not in too much much hot water. The biggest reason I'm not going is because there will be about 20 kids and outside of us and one other couple, NO ONE disciplines their kids so it's like a damn circus. My kids just sit there going "What the fuck is happening? Why is no one telling these idiots to stop?"

I'm thinking about heading to Wallmart for some wings so I can do this win up right with a traditional WNY meal, some suds and of course (terrible religious holiday timing not intended) my Satan jersey.

blech, i despise wal-mart

even ignoring their anti-union policies, i just find their food and service to be terrible.

ah, i enjoy that most sundays that my nomal meal after Mass(soon to be Divine Liturgy) is going to a local pizza joint and ordering up some pizza and wings
