Not to worry, it happens to us all. Just a couple weeks ago I was walking through a mall and everyone in the damned building got Rick Roll'd when they played the song over the mall's pa system.

That's terrible. There's nothing animal control can do? What about the SPCA or humane society? If nothing else, they'll heckle the shit out of these people assholes (hopefully).

My neighbor actually was keeping rabbits, a dog, a few cats, and guinea pigs in a dirty filthy shed. Someone I know is an animal rescuer or some shit and called animal control and got them out of there.

PETA might not be a bad idea if they continue with this bullshit. I called both the police and animal control after the second incident. They both expressed interest in dealing with the situation, and an animal control deputy came out to investigate. He said, of course, that they couldn't really take legal action at this point because all the animals were their property. But he did say he would go have a talk with them about giving up this pig fantasy, and about breeding the dogs. I need to seperate myself from the whole thing because it's just upsetting me, and I can't change them from cruel idiots into feeling people if they aren't ready. So I'm putting up a new 8 foot fence with zero space between the boards.

damn shame. i love pets. i keep alot. i also do everything in my power to ensure their safety and health. they are not just here for my amusement. the fact that people get pets and care for them in such an irresponsible manor is just heartbreaking and cruel.

Black River was awesome. Got a couple really good pics, will post. For Marcy, the girl who booked the campsite got one at Lincoln Pond in E-Town, since everything close was booked because of the Ironman. 45 minute drive to the Loj. Which sucked.

We hicked in and out from the Loj. I didn't summit; made it to where the steep slate starts not far past that clearing, and just didn't have anything left. Knew I couldn't make the rocks past the tree line.

I've never done anything over 3000ft before, and nothing that difficult or long. Pack was too heavy, and I didn't eat enough at breakfast, so I really blew myself up. My own fault; learning experience.
