Also, go Bolts. Anything to keep New Jersey from getting closer to Pittsburgh.

Sorry guys, didn't get a chance to write up some previews to todays games, had a busy day. Jersey edged out Tampa with 39 seconds left in the 3rd though, Montreal leading Boston 3-0 with 5 minutes left in the 2nd

No matter. Schony got him, and we'll catch any of his weak ass attempts to come back too.

If there is anyway you guys can ban by IP do it.

Well, the Sabres retain their divisional lead, as the Bruins sank to the Habs 1-5.

Yea they did!

With Montreal beating Boston tonight, it makes it easier for the Sabres to possibly start Enroth on Saturday.

So, yes, they did us a huge favor.

Alright, its a little early but I won't have time to do this tomorrow morning/afternoon. 14 games scheduled for today so lets get cracking.

Carolina hosting Vancouver, do I even have to post anything about this? 5-17-5 record for Carolina, unless they start a 10 game win streak I think I'll just ignore their games from now on. Kinda makes me sad to say I live in the same state as this team.

Boston hosting Toronto, Boston coming off a 5-1 loss to Montreal (A big thanks to Montreal for helping us out there). Toronto has been riding a little hot streak, lets hope a more rested Toronto team can hold the Bruins at 33 points. Should be an interesting game to see how Phil Kessel does against his former team.

New Jersey hosting Detroit, I know you guys will probably disagree with me here, but I hope Jersey kicks the shit out of Detroit (just my personal feelings for this game). Either way I will be happy with the outcome of this game, I'd like to see Jersey lose and put the Sabres in a better position, but I can't hide my hatred for Detroit. Jersey is coming off a win Friday night against Tampa Bay. Detroit has been bitten a little by the injury bug, Kronwall, Filppula, Franzen, and Lilja are all ruled out for this game.

Philly hosting Washington, this will be Ovechkin's 2nd game missed due to his suspension. This will also be the first game for Philly behind their new coach Laviolette, unfortunantly I don't think we can hope for much help from Philly to gain ground on Washington who leads the East with 40 points (6 above Buffalo, who has 3 games in hand).

Florida hosting Atlanta, Florida hasn't had much success in the past couple weeks, only winning once in their past 7 games. They may be without Vokoun again tonight due to his unfortunate injury while playing against the Thrashers last monday night. Atlanta is currently seated 6th in the conference with 31 points (only 3 behind Buffalos 34).

Pittsburgh hosting Chicago, currently 2 of the leagues top teams, Chicago has had trouble as of late, dropping 3 of the last 4 games. The addition of Marian Hossa has provided a boost to their offensive production but havn't had much success turning that into victories. Pittsburgh has seen a big jump in production from Crosby ( ) in recent weeks, which has helped them win 6 of their last 7 games and are currently tied for 1st in the conference with Washington with 40 points. Hopefully Chicago can help reverse these trends and snap Pittsburghs 3 game winning streak.

Tampa Bay hosts NY Islanders, the Isles despite a very slow start have brought themselves right back into contention with a little help from John Tavares and Matt Moulson, while Tampa Bay continues their offensive struggles and continue to fall down in the standings, they are currently on a 3 game losing streak. This game will be a battle for 8th place in the conference with the Isles at 29 points, and Tampa Bay right behind them with 28.

Phoenix hosting Ottawa, Ottawa currently on a 5 game road trip, with 4 games against western conference teams, have not had any success since a 2-1 victory at home over Columbus and have not won away from home since Oct. 28th against Florida. They have lost their past 3 to Boston, San Jose, and LA, while Phoenix has enjoyed a 3 game win streak. Ottawa is currently 7th in the conference with 30 points and hopefully continue to struggle away from Scotiabank Place.

There, finally finished, I don't know how I managed to type all of this as I'm already half asleep, so I apologize for any typos or misspelled words, but I'm not going back to proofread any of this.

Eh, I don't think it really matters much who wins the Tampa-Isles game, their both sitting in pretty much the same spot.

I'd agree with you, but the Isles are feeling very confident right now, and that could lead to a gnarly winning streak.

The only reason they are doing good right now is because Tavares and Moulson are clicking, this team has so much trouble scoring outside of them, and just like rookies always do they will go through some ups and downs. I don't think they will be a serious contender this year, although I do think it is very possible they could make the playoffs, I don't see them going past the first round.

yes, but if the isles move a goaltender, they could fetch a decent return to bolster their lineup.

Rangers hosting Detroit, Detroit is having a tough time this year with injuries to some of their top players which include Rafalski, Kronwal, Franzen, Lilja, Filppula, and Williams. Both teams are playing in their 2nd game on back to back nights, with the Wings losing to Jersey in a shootout.

Anaheim hosting Ottawa, Ottawa is struggling on the road, this will be their last game on a 5 game road trip where they are 0-3-1, and have also lost 7 straight on the road dating back to Oct 28th. Anaheim has been having recent struggles at home though, losing their past 4 games at home. Anaheim will also be without Teemu Selanne who is out with a fracture bone in his hand.

Well at least the Wings won, but Ottawa snapped their little skid and beat Anaheim in a shootout, they are now 2 points behind the Sabres.
