One of these days we need to prepare a meal in the same local - wild rice is a favorite, but sometimes I have troubles with it - one of my few flaws :lol: :lol: :lol:


Got a Mango-cream sauce, and candied brussels sprouts going, too - Gotta get a lot of butter in with the rice (raises the temp) and you have to keep the water level fairly low and steam for about 35 minutes, instead of the typical 20-22 minutes for white or brown rice...

Good tips I will take into account - I always thought it was the altitude and lower boiling temp that was messing with me ;)
