who did you roommate think you were? who did you tell her you are?

I'm curious also.

She thought I was a woman, but I'm actually a man.

No, it's just that who I am publicly is very different, probably the opposite, of who I am at the core. Yeah. Probably the only thing that is still true is that I'm still silly and still different and still able to be a card in Apples to Apples when I play with friends (the fact that I'm a card but nobody else in our group of friends is says something lol). I've been told by most people I know that I'm either the hardest person to figure out or the most complex person they've ever known (and basically, those mean the same thing). But, yeah. I'm so good at hiding what I am and not letting people know that she did not believe me at first. (What I hide is that I am extremely caring and sensitive, basically, among other things... but mostly that.)

I also told her all these other things about me and my past, and now I feel absolutely nekkid. At least now she understands why I haaate it when she dismisses people as weird; that was my life for years, being dismissed like that. It probably was good to at least explain that to her, because it's something where I'll always just say "stop" with no explanation.

But, yeah. You asked. :P

I really hate when my medication gets stuck in my throat on the way down. Now I have heart burn.

I don't come here for like three days but it feels like a year.

I just wish school would calm the hell down. And on top of that I'm getting sick. Yay coughs and stuffyness.

By the way, did you guys know that blue Gatorade can help heal spinal cord injuries?

I will keep that mind for the next time I get a spinal cord injury. :P

Also I am sick of group projects. Oh my goodness. I have had a meeting every day for the past week.

I am also sick of speeches, but that's practically all of my homework this semester. Speechspeechspeech. Well. At least I don't get nervous at all... though that's not necessarily a good thing...

The blue dye has a similar molecular shape to some stuff they use to help prevent spinal cord injuries from getting worse:

Quote:
Blue M&M's. Rats given through-the-vein injections of the compound Brilliant Blue G soon after they received paralyzing spinal injuries regained the ability to walk, though with a clumsy gait, while injured rats that didn't get BBG were permanently paralyzed, researchers report today in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. BBG is chemically similar to FD&C blue dye No. 1, the artificial colorant in blue foodstuffs ranging from those melt-in-your-mouth chocolates to blue Gatorade. In fact, Maiken Nedergaard, who led the research, says the two dyes "are so similar in chemical structure that we could [probably] exchange one for the other." Americans ingest more than 1 million pounds of FD&C blue dye No. 1 annually, according to the study. But before envisioning a day when paramedics drip blue food coloring through IVs at the scene of an accident, consider that what works in rats may not pan out in people. "This is just the beginning," says Nedergaard, who is codirector of the Center for Translational Neuromedicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center. Another caveat: The dye-treated rats temporarily turned a bit, well, blue.

I FINALLY HAD A PHILOSOPHICAL DISCUSSION WITH FRIENDS FOR THE FIRST TIME THIS YEAR.

It ended prematurely and only lasted about two hours, but you've no idea how much I've been wanting one of those lately. I slowly die without mental stimulation, and though it's OK all in my mind, I still like to talk about things with others, especially when it comes to philosophy, sociology, psychology, etc.
