I'll use some of the info Schony sent me and will also point out that last season's Game Day Threads regularly got 400-600 responses and 8,000-10,000 views
Zilla - It may be worth while for me to send you the outline from the original complaint. It covers roughly 10 paragraphs and 18 issues! Any reply I received, has a disclaimer at the bottom stating information contained in this message is forbidden from being disseminated to anyone other than whom it was meant for
I don't know if anyone has the time to come up with a comprehensive list, but each team has handled it differently. The old official forums (Webmaster) did not handle it AT ALL. It's surprising to me that a forum as active as the old one would not have had Admin's. Perhaps, if it did, the message board section wouldn't be the worst one in the entire NHL (IMO).
Here's a small recap from the boards who have reverted back to IPS due to the overall general crappiness of the kickapps layout;
Vancouver - IPS boards 835 users in the last 15 minutes
Montreal IPS boards - 147 members "
Rangers - seems to be kickapps but the URL says iamarangersfan or something - 584 posts in the last 24 hours.
Oilers - proof that they refused to accept the crappy kickapps layout and went back to IPS
http://fans.oilers.nhl.com/topic/7577/t ... ation.htmlThere should be a fb group or petition to the NHL itself to restore its fan forums to their former IPS format. Grass Roots. I like Grass Roots.
Anything else you'd like?
*Not that I'd
ever go back, but it's a matter of principle. For the endless hours your Mods put in over there FOR YEARS, and they way our concerns were (not) handled on behalf of the board members is egregious.
