and now they are bashing regier on needing to make a good trade. They are going through his trades in the past that have not propelled the sabres the distance.

I can see why they are bashing him, all they added was depth and no scoring.

How can you say we added no scoring when the guy we picked up has more goals than anyone currently on our team?

I like what Darcy did today.

That doesn't mean I'm content with what he did today.

they also said he's soft, too conservative, and should strive to win at least one round. and they are talking about play off scenarios, and how if we keep losing we'll fall baby fall out of the playoffs to teams nine games back.

I have seen torres play before, he will be lucky to keep up with this pace he's on.

the questioning the status of regier based on his trading is what i like. though of course larry is not smart enough to see this. will it work out, as a sabres fan i'd hope it does, not liking regier i'd hope it didn't, which way will i go we shall see.

This, I just looked at multiple right ups on this guy and his stats. This was a bullshit pickup. This team needed help on the 1ST line, they got nothing today on that. I will say it now. Buffalo is lucky if they make the playoffs, and they are 4 and out.

Darcy is just a terribly bad GM when it comes to taking risks, he is way to conservative. Not good for a city and organization starving for a championship. Not good at all.

Let the guy play a game or two before you all go shitting on Regier. How about that?

I like the Torres pickup. I like moving C-Mac. I would have also liked it if more got done.

so we are probably going to lose tallinder and lydman to walk aways instead of taking picks.

As well they are talking about the in season trades. and the last five years they are critiquing that he has done nothing to push the team over the edge. though a fan brought up the myers trade up pick. and it was the vancouver pick they gave up. their argument seems to be that the sabres are not willing to do what is necessary to win a cup.

No one is shitting on Regier, just speaking an opinion is all PSP, I am not happy at all as a fan. Not happy with the lack of moves made here, regardless of excuses.

They only upgraded one of their top 6 forwards. They clearly didn't do anything.

I sorta think the same thing on the willingness to do what is necessary to win a cup. I honestly do not believe Darcy Regier has what it takes to do so. I mean, for me as a fan, the proof is right there in a 12 year stretch. I am hoping TG fires him to be honest with you. JMO.

Because those are just stats, when we compare players or look at players we can't compare stats, that makes too much sense to do.

Also we can still trade Lydman and Tallinder at the end of the season anyways to people who want first crack at signing them.

I think it's still better we keep them until then instead of just losing them now for picks, or possibly another player who we may also lose anyways.

What Sky? After today Lydman and Tallinder are off the market...that's it. They can't be traded as UFAs after today or after the season. I can understand not wanting to break up the top pairing (Myers-Tallinder), but Lydman just hasn't been good enough to justify holding onto.

Bringing Weber up would be a great way for Darcy to see where he's at and help decide what he should do FA wise with the d-corps over the summer. No matter what Buffalo does in the playoffs, Lydman won't be a very big part of that, so I'd rather pick up a pick (replace the 2nd rd pick for Torres).
