You guys are WAAAAAAAAAAYYYYY too hard on Connolly.

He has cleaned his act up so much, I didn't even notice him tonight.

Loved what I saw out of Enroth tonight. Reminds me a little of Doug Flutie. Little guy who shouldn't be productive, but is.

I am far less worried about this team when Enroth is in net than when Lalime is. Kudos on allowing only one goal.

Wasn't a bad game, but man someone needs to score, and it can't always be Vanek( Although for the money...). Colin Stuart played well imo(how many shots did he register?). Adam looked good as well except for the one mistake obviously. Myers is really starting to look like Myers again. Enroth, what can I say, I love this little guy. He's getting some great support and he's giving the guys a chance to win which is exactly what we need from him. Now we just need to pot some goals.

From what people have been telling me, the Sabres aren't afraid to play their game when Enroth is in net. Which is a huge change of pace from when Lalime is in net. That should tell Lindy something.

I think it's been the plan all along to go with Enroth when Miller is down. But when Miller's healthy instead of sitting on the bench Enroth goes down and gets more playing time.
I can see how the team would feel better with him in net. Lalime is just very slow now-a-days.

If you'll remember, when Lalime went down to Portland to get some warmup games last year, he game back and played well too.

How quickly they forget. :(

Let's have Enroth sit out a few weeks, then be thrown in---and see how he does.

From what my eyeballs are telling me it's pretty much the same. They played good versus the Bolts but still could not score. In fact the Sabres haven't scored more than 3 goals in a game all season, well except for one time I think when they scored 6. So even if they are more comfortable, it's a moot point because they can't score when they are tense or comfortable.

Oh, and by the way, for all of those that didn't like the "Pick up O'Sullivan off of waivers" idea.
He scored in his first game tonight as a wild.
Now I wonder, what could have 1 goal of done for the Sabres tonight.......................

Considering that you didn't even know who O'Sullivan was until he showed up on the wire, yes, the idea was still BS.

Are we now going to spend the rest of the season shitting on Darcy every time a moved player does something?

Who is the dimwit who gave away the puck on the only goal allowed in the game?

The dimwit has a name. Luke Adam. He gave the puck away, Sekera didn't do a good enough job tying up Crosby, and the forwards didn't do a good enough job preventing Dupuis from skating down the slot unmolested.

There is plenty of blame to pass around on the goal.

I've spent the last 3 + seasons doing so Squanto. I make no apologies about it, I openly admit when I am wrong (as you have seen, time and again from me by the way), but in this I do not believe I am.
But as this season progresses, the old cliche's I hear, "Don't make a trade for trades sake", "I am confident in our players", "Lindy will turn it around", etc....etc.....just don't hold any water what so ever considering they make the playoffs once in 3 seasons and looking alot like its going to be 4 seasons is more than enough reasoning to levy criticism where it is due.

Cody McCormick was the man in the area on the Dupuis goal. Just watch Dupuis skate past him. Not what you'd expect from a gritty guy.

I can cherry pick stats too and say they've made the playoffs 3 of the last 5 years.

I'm not suggesting that they don't need changes. I'm not saying they don't deserve to be criticized for some things.

I am saying that watching the waiver wire and assuming that every player that hits it is better than someone already here is just dumb.

Ummm I'm pretty sure molesting an opponent will get you 2 minutes...

Isn't it obvious? He was joining the rush or perhaps even leading the rush out of the zone. Adams retarded the play by going backwards, he heard Kunitz's footsteps and apparently panicked. A simple chip out and they had a potential 3-2.
