ASSETS: Has a strong lower body, which enables him to keep possession of the puck in the corners and also dish out solid hits. Can score goals in bunches. Is effective when crashing the net.
FLAWS: Is somewhat injury-prone, due to his kamikaze style of play. Doesn't skate particularly well and struggles with defensive-zone coverage.
CAREER POTENTIAL: Aggressive scoring winger, when healthy.

Torres 19 goals this year is 1 better than Vanek who leads the Sabres before today....

Not perennial 20 goal scorers.

Neither is Torres.

20, 27, 15, 17, and 19 this season on two terrible teams in CLS and EDM.

He leads us in goals...

Make MacArthur and Stafford Both very expendable...interesting, possibly package the 2 in a 2 for 1 deal?

How does that say he's injury prone, he has 80+ games every season since 03-04 I think and 60 this season.

Agreed.

I'm going to remain optimistic about this trade until he gives me a reason not to be.

I would to but they have too many of these third/forth line guys IMO.

Helloooooo Raffi the Rental.

Gives us a lot of forwards, see if Darcy has anything else up his sleeve now that he's actually pulling the trigger.

Torres is an upgrade up front. That alone makes it a good trade.

He better be. I have read and heard that Torres is a lazy player though.

Torres 80+ last 4 years? Are you on crack????????????????/

Type in Raffi Torres on google, and the first option below is Raffi Torres injury.

Like Bob and Patkane said, a rental. This guy came out of the draft with potential, and ALMOST reached it for one season way back when. I'm not mad about the trade, but it's nothing to get too excited about.

Raffi Torres, iron man hahahahahaa
