I'd agree. I think LQ is just posturing.

I was expecting everyone to deny it at the beginning. The Sabres would want to make sure everything starts to pan out before they go ahead and make the the announcement. Give it a few hours or maybe a few days for it to be "officially" announced

Hmm...this could all be very interesting. Golisano has always said he would be open to selling the team as long as the team would remain in Buffalo. I've never heard of this Pegula guy but it's obvious he cares about hockey if he donated so much money to improve Penn State's hockey program and his wife is a WNY native and an avid Sabres fan... If this were all true, I wouldn't be worried about the team's future if it's in Pegula's hands.

If Terry steps in and decides he doesn't like what Quinn has done, he can remove him from his position with the organization, but he can't easily take away Quinn's ownership without Quinn giving it up.

Depends.

LQ and DiPofi might not be required to sell their portions if BTG sells his. It's conceivable that they could stay on, but I doubt they would.

Even if they do stay on, I doubt that LQ would retain the managing partner or president titles.
